5th class School Tour

On June 15th, Room 27 5th class headed off on their school tour to Croke Park. They toured the ground of  the well-known stadium, visited the dressing rooms, learned lots of historical facts relating to events held in the stadium and even spent time in the commentary stand!

After a quick bite to eat and a chance to kick a ball and hit a sliotar, they headed off to visit Dublinia and learn lots of new information about the Vikings and Medieval Dublin. The sun shone brightly and everyone enjoyed the day!

Junior Infants Tour 2019

Junior Infants went on a wonderful school tour to Newgrange Farm. The sun shone for them and they had so much fun exploring the farm. They met many of the animals who live on the farm and fed some of them. They played in the sand pit, the water area, the maze and on the toy tractors. The classes went for a very enjoyable tractor ride around the farm with one of the farmers. Finally, they relaxed after a fun filled morning with their lunches in the garden area. It will be a day that they will all fondly remember for a long time.
