PM E-collection

 

We are delighted to release the PM ebook collection to pupils from Senior Infants, 1st 2nd and 3rd.  This will allow our teachers to provide levelled readers to the children so they can continue to develop their reading and comprehension skills at home using the same  scheme as they use in school.

The teachers will assign books  and give instructions through the app each week.

Logins are the same as the Reading Eggs logins . We will send a reminder email detailing these  on Monday.

Parents and guardians can download the app from the app store or use a browser and go to  https://app.pmecollection.com.au/

Welcome Back to Distance Learning

Welcome back to  another few weeks of distance learning ! We know it’s not the same as being back together in school but hopefully it won’t be for too long.

Our teachers have lots of exciting activities planned for everyone over the next few weeks  and they will be in touch ton Monday  through Aladdin Connect or Google Classroom. ….and don’t forget the RTE Hub  and Joe Wicks online everyday as well.

For our pupils from 2nd up , Ms. Brennan has created a short HOW TO video in case anyone has forgotten how to complete assignments on Google Classroom.

 

 

We will continue with  Reading Eggs and Maths Seeds with our Juniors. We are also  introducing the PM eCollection . This is an app or browser portal which our pupils who normally engage in guided reading, can login to . The usernames and passwords are the same as reading eggs.  The teachers will give instructions in the app about what books to read .

Reading Eggs is based on solid scientific research and focuses around the five essential keys to reading success – phonics, phonemic awareness, vocabulary, comprehension and fluency. The programme is designed by expert educators with over 30 years of experience.

Again, as we have said many times, no pressure… just do as much as you can.
