Active Learning in 3rd
Room 17 continuing to use active learning in maths. This week they have been learning all about multiplying by 8. In order to make it fun, keep it interesting and aid understanding, they played multiplication games.

3rd class are learning Maths through games. Once a week, they get to play and put all their maths knowledge into practice. They love these games proving that maths can be great fun !

Early Maths

The videos on this page were taken in Senior Infants and show the children playing Ready Steady Go Maths Games. These games have been devised for children to play as part of their number activities to help them develop and consolidate important ideas in number in a fun way. This program is being taught in Senior Infants with the help of the Learning Support Team. It is part of our Numeracy School Improvement Plan.
