We hope you all enjoy these wonderful acrostic poems by 6th class based on the words “World War”, “Anne Frank” and “Snowflake”.
We are so impressed with all the learning that the children in Room 8 are doing during this lockdown. See a selection of their work in the video below.
Well done Room 8!
We learned all about r this week. We found lots of objects that began with r and we drew really great rockets.
We continue to be amazed at the work the children are producing at home and sharing with their teachers.
Great news. We know Colm from GAA coaching in school and now Colm is back helping us to stay fit with some easy workouts to do at home . Let’s all get moving so we will be nice and fit when we get back to school ! For this workout you just need a chair, a ball and a few tins of beans ! Thanks Colm for thinking of us
The boys and girls from Room 2 were very busy last week. They went on sound hunts for ‘e’, ‘c’, ‘k’, and ‘n’ words, came up with and wrote out ‘at’ words and practiced their writing so beautifully. They did lots of maths activities in their maths book, on MathsSeeds and through games they played with concrete materials as well. The children also read pages and books with the new sight words they have learned. Keep up the great work!
