Some fantastic coding in 6th class this week!
Well done to Mia Horgan in 4th class who made it through to the Bebras Computational Thinking Challenge finals during TechWeek in April.
She did great!
The Bebras Computing Challenge introduces computational thinking to students, by allowing them to solve interactive tasks online. It is run in over 50 countries around the world.

Mr. MacCann’s 4th class took part in the Bebras Computational Thinking Challenge earlier this year.
Today it we received the exciting news that Mia Horgan was a winner in the challenge and she will now go forward to take part in the national final as part of TechWeek 2021.
Well done Mia! And well done to all the class who took part.

Room 2 had great fun this week for Science week. We made our very own volcano, explored static electricity and what classroom items sank or floated.
The children in Room 30 have been working in the HUB in their pods.
They have been learning to code using Sphero EDU bolt robots.
Sphero is a robot ball with several features that can be controlled through the Sphero EDU app.
