Halloween Fun
Everyone had a great day at our spooky school today! The classrooms were filled with witches, goblins, ghosts and ghouls and the cake sale treats were even scarey to eat!
Thank you to all our PTA helpers today who did such a fantastic job at the cake sale and made sure every child got what they wanted.
The Spooky Corridor
Our hugely creative 6th class team, Mr. Lowery, Ms. Doyle, Ms. Ní Fhearghail and Mr. Lysaght, did another incredible job this year on the entire corridor. Every pupil had the chance to walk through the Spooky Corridor this week and see the old witch sleeping in a chair. Thankfully she didn’t wake up until after break today when the sixth classes got a bit of a scare!
CodeWeek Certificate for our school @CodeWeekIRL @PDST_TechinEd
We were delighted to receive our school certificate for the coding activities the children in St. Brigid’s took part in over the last few weeks.
Our first term in Junior Infants Room 1
The children in Room 1 have had a very busy term so far in Junior Infants…..
Croke Park Finals
What an achievement for the 6th class girls to play in Croke Park today. They were up against a brilliant team from Belgrove but they played their hearts out. We were all impressed with their spirit, skill, determination and team work. They gave the whole school something to cheer about. It was a day we hope they will always remember.
The Girls are off to Croke Park
What a send off for the girls this morning as they headed to Croke Park for the final of the Austin Finn Cup.
Congratulations 5th Class Boys Footballers
Congratulations to the footballers on the boys’5th class team. After winning their league this term, they played Scoil Pius, Terenure in a play-off yesterday. The boys played a great game and although they weren’t the winners on the day, they each received well deserved a medal.
Our thanks to Mr. O’Meara for all the personal time he gave to coaching the team and organising matches.

Halloween Cake Sale
Our Halloween Cake Sale is back this year! Cakes and treats will be gratefully received by the class teachers on Friday morning and then dropped to the hall. Please remember to label your container if you want to get it back!
