We want to congratulate three outstanding and inspirational past pupils who were in the news this week.
Sarah Hawkshaw playing for Ireland in the Hockey World Cup recently.
Jack Barrett who ran in the 400m mixed relay and finished 8th in the World Finals
and St. Brigid’s GAA captain, Catherine O’Reilly who scooped the sports award in Traveller Pride Week.
Last May, Mr. Lowery and his class made a video showing how the new Activ Panels were used in our school. He submitted a shorter clip to the Promethean Classroom Stories competition, which invites schools across the UK and Ireland to share their most inspiring stories.
This week, Mr. Lowery was delighted to receive an email from Promethean that said
“On behalf of everyone at Promethean, it’s a great pleasure to confirm that you’re a WINNER in the Classroom Stories competition 2022!
The standard of applications this year has been amazing, and you are a well-deserving recipient of a Promethean ActivPanel. Our guest judges loved your video entry! ”
Congratulations to Mr. Lowery and his class on a fantastic entry and result and thank you to Promethean. We can’t wait to get our new board.prPromethean Classroom Stories Winner
