Christmas Jumper Day 2020

Take a look at the selection of festive fashion and christmas jumpers around the school today.

Thank you all for your kind generosity to our charity collection.

Thank you also the parents that entertained the children while they were lining up in the infant yards this morning!

Touch Typing Courses

Touch-typing (TTRS)  Classes continuing on Zoom

TTRS classes are continuing successfully on Zoom.  A number of students completed the course last term, as a result, a limited number of places are available for January 2021.    If parents are interested in finding out how TTRS can help students with Dyslexia, Dyspraxia (DCD), Dysgraphia or other learning differences, please contact Carol Pitcher for details – castleknockttrs@gmail.com or call 087 2868910.

Thank you from the Green Schools Committee

The Green Schools Committee would like to say a huge THANK YOU to all the pupils who made Christmas decorations out of recyclable materials for our display this year.
We had only hoped to decorate our Green Schools bulletin board at the main entrance.
But, so many of you brought in decorations that we ended up with not only a display at the main entrance, but a display in the other school buildings as well!
Well done to you all!
We have taken photographs of all your decorations and we are entering them into the Eco-Christmas Competition being run by Fingal County Council. You are free to enter this competition with other entries as well.
Happy Christmas and remember to Reduce, Reuse and Recycle whenever you can during the holidays!

Santa visit to the odd classes

We had a very exciting,  socially-distanced visit from Santa Claus to the school on Tuesday. He told us all about his busy preparations in the North Pole. He  especially enjoys his visits to St. Brigid’s as his reindeers can go to visit their Irish cousins in the Phoenix park. Santa is back in our school today to meet the boys and girls in the other classes so look out for some more photos later!
