Carol Service

The Annual Carol Service is a lovely Christmas event. Traditionally it was the only time the whole school came together. However over the last years as the school  numbers increased , safety became a concern in the church.  For this reason it was decided to hold two services which leaves more space in the church for parents to attend. We know this is inconvenient for parents of siblings so we appreciate you co operation. The following is the list of what  classes will attend each day.

Thursday  17th December

Please be aware that all front sections in the church are for the children . Parents should sit in the eaves.  5th/ 6th classes will be on the balcony. The service starts at 11am.

Christmas Events:

  • Friday 11th Last day for  the sale of Christmas Annuals. Priced €4

  • Monday 14th:  Bring  finished Cribs to class. Crib Display will be arranged by Mrs Stokes and will run all week in the Sports Hall.

  • Thursday 17th : Carol Service A   begins at 11am . Junior Infant Angels wear white shirts and a little tinsel. Wings are optional!

  • Friday  18th : Carol Service B   begins at 11am.

  • Monday 21st: Wear something festive day and donate €2 to our chosen Christmas Charity. Santa may visit today and meet the Infants.

  • Tuesday 22nd : We close at 12 noon
