PTA News

School Calendars … Now

The school calendars are going home today or tomorrow. Every child will receive one and we are asking parents will send in €3 this week. Thanks to Greg in Castello Bruno’s for his ongoing sponsorship. We apologise for the delay which was due to a printing issue

Cake Sale… February

We will hold a cake sale on Wednesday, February 20th, the day before the mid term break. We would be grateful for donations of cakes that morning to the PE foyer or the children can bring them down after the bell. Please remember we are a nut free school and we are trying to cut down on our waste so we will be asking children who are buying buns to bring in a small container or lunch box to put them in as we don’t want to use plastic bags.

School Dance…March

Our annual dinner dance will take place on Saturday March 23rd in the Crowne Plaza Hotel . It is always a great night and tickets usually sell out fast so put it in your diary !

The Book Fair…April

Every year we host a book fair, which gives children a chance to select a new book and also allows us to supplement our school library with lots of new titles. This year the book fair is due to take place the first week in April.

Family Fun Run… April

Our ever popular Family Fun Run takes place on Sunday April 7th near the Pope’s Cross . This is a free event for all the family including the dog ! We look forward to seeing our super fit pupils who , thanks to the Daily Mile, Marathon Kids and lunch time running, will be running this challenge in record time.

Bag 2 School … May

If you are doing an Easter Spring clean , don’t forget we are running another back to school collection in the week after the May Bank holiday with the collection scheduled for May 10th.

Communion and Confirmations.. May

The PTA will also serve refreshments at the communions and confirmation and will need some volunteers to help out at these three events. Looks like a very busy time ahead for the PTA !

Christmas Cards

Our PTA are very busy this week sorting out the Christmas Card orders. We want the children to have them back in plenty of time for Christmas posting, so tomorrow will be the last day. Please send money in an envelope with child’s name and class. Don’t worry if you don’t have the order code or original form.
