An Taoiseach is visiting us on Monday 2nd October at 9:30am. Junior and Senior Infants will welcome him at the front of the school where, weather permitting , our new Digital School of Distinction flag will be raised.

Children from 1st and 2nd will line the corridors as an Taoiseach walks through to the hall.

Ms. Eimear O’Callaghan, our STEAM co-ordinator, has chosen pupils from each level to showcase their digital projects outside the hall. These will include Minecraft , Scratch, beebots, powerpoints, photostories and Lego.

Pupils from 3rd to 6th will be seated in the hall with our invited guests. They will hear from Ms. Nicola Fay who leads technology in our school, Mr. Gerard Mc Hugh , head of Dublin West Education Centre, Mr.Neil O’Sullivan , validator for the Digital Schools of Disctinction and finally An Taoiseach, Mr. Leo Vradakar.

Pupils from 1st to 6th should wear their full school uniform on Monday. There will be no PE classes.
